+ DO YOU OFFER ONE-ON-ONE TUITION?
Yes, Mad about Maths offers one-on-one tuition as well as standard tuition, which is one tutor with up to 3 students at the table. All tuition offered is individualized and based on the needs and assessments of the students themselves. As such, our standard tuition groupings are not based on grades or schools, but rather by the best pairing between tutor and student that we can achieve. We do not offer group session larger than 3 students per tutor as we feel this is the ideal spread of attention and time for each individual to receive the attention they require. One on one tuition is ideal for those students who do not wish to share a table or tutor, find others distracting in their environment or have a lot of work to focus on in a short amount of time.

+ WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM A WORKSHOP?
Throughout the year, we will offer workshops at our Claremont branch based on the various school exam and test time tables.
We have two types of workshops, Sectional Workshops and Exam Revision Workshops.
Sectional workshops with cover a specified section in the syllabus in full, going over all theory of the section and thereafter practising various questions in order to solidify the students understanding of theory and practice of work covered.
Exam Revision Workshops will work through an entire exam paper, with helpful hint and tips, the breakdown, structure and mark allocation of each paper, as well as advice on how to tackle specific questions and what to expect.
We currently offer Mathematics and Physical Science workshops and are sometimes able to offer Accounting workshops from time to time.
Keep an eye on the workshop schedule page to see what is coming up.
+ DO YOU TRAVEL TO THE STUDENTS HOUSE?
At this point, we don't offer this service. We have two centres in the southern suburbs.(Bergvliet and Claremont) Students are seated at tables set up in the centres and tutored as individuals in a maximum cluster of 3 students per table.
+ HOW DOES YOUR TUTORING WORK?
We offer tutor based tutoring, as opposed to computer based, as some students work better with and prefer the personalized human touch. The majority of our tutors are university students, as this allows our students to relate to their tutors, due to them being more in their own age grouping than say, their school teachers may be. All tutors are required to have attained a distinction in the subjects they are tutoring for their Grade 12 results, and are then subjected to a series of assessments in order to qualify to tutor with Mad about Maths
